Delve into these practices with Leslie Luft & Elyce Neuhauser

Pranayama: Refine your pranayama teaching skills and strengthen your knowledge of breath practice techniques, teaching basic pranayama as well as honing your language for teaching more advanced variations.

Mudra: In addition to breath work, learn the significance and use of various hand, finger and body gestures (mudras) that will broaden the practice and enhance your students’ experience in class.

Mantra: This weekend exploration will also include the meanings, significance and power of mantra repetition and the use of sound and vibration and how it affects energy in their classes. Through the study of mantra and the Bhakti Yoga of Kirtan, you can take your teaching to a higher level and deepen your students’ level of knowledge and understanding.

GET YOUR OM ON with us for an evening of Mystical Kirtan featuring the celestial Mirabai Moonon guitar and vocals with special guest musicians. Come ready to dance, sing, meditate and be transported to other realms during this ecstatic summer event which will engage all of your senses.

A mystical, mantra-infused sound bath will serve as a gateway into our sacred space. We will create an altered state of consciousness naturally through this meditative sound immersion featuring Michelle Angel & Mirabai Moon, followed by a Kirtan (call and response devotional chanting) and an ecstatic Moving Meditation with Elyce.

Sit back and be bathed in the resonance of gongs, crystal singing bowls and melodious voices, or let your own voice sing out and your body move. Participate to whatever extent feels natural, let your soul be your guide.

Our partners & projects provide refuge, rehabilitation, & economic opportunities to survivors of trafficking globally. This year the monies raised will go to Puresa Humanitarian,  Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependance , and as always OLLI works in collaboration with Off the Mat into the World to support their continued work using yoga to inspire conscious sustainable activism and ignite grassroot social change.

This 20-hour Restore-With-Yoga Training is for new and experienced yoga teachers, body workers, nurses, physical therapists, other healing professionals and for anyone wanting to incorporate restorative yoga practices in their work and /or personal lives. Prior certification to teach yoga is NOT a prerequisite for this course. During this training, participants will gain an understanding of the philosophy and principles of Restorative Yoga as well as learn how to teach various restorative yoga poses to others.
