Yoga For Grief: Healing & Peace for All Bodies

Grief is a normal part of life. Yoga for Grief is for anyone suffering a loss and experiencing the grief process. Grief can manifest in the emotional, mental, and, most notably, physical self. Through the practice of yoga and meditation, this workshop will facilitate healing and connection for both mind and body.
Yoga for Grief will help with understanding what to do and how to take care of the self during this difficult and overwhelming time.
This workshop will include a yoga class, meditation, and a reflection circle. The goal will be to learn how yoga and meditation can promote self-care, decrease stress, and create a sense of community.
Led by Olga Lucia, an E-RYT yoga instructor with personal grief experience, join us for an afternoon of connection, movement, and healing.

When we restore, refresh, and renew our mind, body, and spirit with Restorative Yoga and Aromatherapy, we’re able to raise our vibration to be in alignment with goodness.
Restorative Yoga is supported yoga postures that help relieve the effects of chronic stress. With the support of props, such as bolsters, blocks, blankets the body relaxes releases tension and the mind gets calm and peaceful.
Yoga, Creativity and Crafts for Children Workshop

Practicing yoga is a wonderful way to inspire children to feel good about themselves and the world around them. Through physical movement and mindful thinking, it can help children build the self-confidence and focusing skills they need to navigate through their busy lives. It also serves as a beneficial tool to help guide them in opening up to their innate and natural creativity.
Join us for an afternoon of yoga and creative fun. In this workshop, children will learn yoga poses inspired by the autumn season. We will then have fun creating with crafts designed to foster and develop their focusing skills. What a wonderful way to help children transition through this beautiful, changing time of the year.
The class will be taught by Tara Venezia. Tara has 14 years of experience as a teaching assistant in grades K-5. She has developed and taught a Girl Scout yoga program. She has been trained as a children’s yoga teacher through Yogi Beans LLC. She also has training in Teaching Yoga to Children with Disabilities.

TWEEN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING Translating the Practice of Yoga into a Language Kids Understand and Enjoy
Our Tween Yoga training targets a narrow age range between 9 and 13 years old, and is designed to guide participants in how to leverage yoga to bridge the gap between "child" and "teenager." This training begins by covering techniques associated with teaching asanas to this age group, and pose variations that are best suitable to a Tween’s changing body. The training discusses pranayama and meditation at length and how both tools can help mitigate stress and anxiety and promote healthy self-regulation. This 12 hour training is designed to deconstruct yogic concepts and philosophies and translate them into concepts and activities that are relatable to Tweens in order to support their everyday life. You will leave feeling inspired and empowered to bring yoga to this impressionable and sensitive age group.

In this workshop, you will learn tools to build resiliency in managing anxiety and stress through easeful movement, supported rest, and a powerful meditation technique from master teacher Dandapani. What we cultivate on our mats follows us off the mat.
