Joshua Greene

Joshua Greene instructs the following:
  • Yoga in the Sixties
  • The Sixties set the stage for the yoga revolution and a redefining of consciousness—a cultural and political shift that is just now gathering momentum, a half-century later. In this action-packed, visually kaleidoscopic ride through that transformational decade, author/lecturer Joshua M. Greene reveals the spiritual current flowing just below the surface of the 21st century. The program includes portraits of leading yogis and notables in the arts and sciences.
After 13 years in ashrams of Europe and India, Joshua M. Greene returned to New York and taught Hinduism and Holocaust history at Hofstra University until retiring in 2013. He lectures on journeys to enlightenment at universities and yoga studios nationwide. His books include Here Comes the Sun: The Spiritual and Musical Journey of George Harrison and Gita Wisdom: An Introduction to India’s Essential Yoga Text. Greene is also a filmmaker whose Holocaust documentaries air on PBS, The Disney Channel, and Discovery
