Winter Meditation & Restorative Workshop

Margaret Jennings

Margaret's passion for yoga began more than a decade ago. She holds a Master's Degree in School Psychology and pursued her love of yoga when she retired. Margaret received her 200 hour RYT Certification in Refined Flow at Absolute Yoga. Her enthusiasm extends to the benefits of meditation. Margaret is certified in Meditation and Visual Imagery through the Huntington Meditation and V.I. Center. Her training is a combination of Anusara, which is based on bio-mechanical principals, blended with the breath and movement of Prana Flow. She continues to study Anatomy, Therapeutics and the emotional benefits of Yoga and Meditation. As a dedicated practitioner, Margaret views her practice as a way of life and one of the best ways to balance spiritual, emotional and physical healing. Within the framework of joyful exploration, she creates an environment for her students which promotes self discovery, curiosity, strength and peace. She is blessed to be loved and supported by her teachers and her wonderful family, Kevin, Kyle, Katie and Colleen.

Just as our bodies have muscle memory, so does our mind and spirit. The more we practice deep relaxation, the more we can access a sense of peace when life brings us challenges. In this workshop, you will learn tools to build resiliency in managing anxiety and stress through easeful movement, supported rest, and a powerful meditation technique from master teacher Dandapani. What we cultivate on our mats follows us off the mat.
